Pocket Tunes for Windows Mobile 4.1 is a multimedia player developed for Windows Mobile for Pocket PC devices. This version of Pocket Tunes can be installed in Pocket PC devices running the most recent Windows Mobile version, Windows Mobile 6.1.
Maybe many of you don't know anything about Pocket Tunes, you may think it's just another multimedia player for Windows Mobile. Nevertheless those of you who ever owned Palm PDAs will sure know this software, and most of them will think that is the best multimedia player for Palm devices ever. In fact it was. This is a version of that legendary multimedia player for Windows Mobile devices.
The first interesting feature we notice of the program is that during installation we are asked if we want to synchronize the program with iTunes. This feature may be of interest for iPod owners or anyone who likes iTunes.
The program builds up a library at first execution by reading all the readable files from your devices storage media. There's also an interesting feature of internet radio stations listening, which also features autoupdate facility.
The interface is well developed and its graphics are good. Pocket tunes includes all the common options as album art, shuffle, loop, lyrics, etc...
This version of Pocket Tunes is a freeware version of Pocket Tunes deluxe. For the first 15 days you'll be running Pocket Tunes Deluxe, after time runs out the software will downgrade to Pocket Tunes. If you want to keep using Pocket Tunes Deluxe, just register it. |
